Capulineado is a traditional ceramic painting technique from Capula, Michoacán, Mexico. It involves applying tiny hand-painted dots, resembling capulín (wild cherry) seeds to create intricate patterns and textures. This technique is most famously used on ceramic Catrinas, as well as plates, mugs, and decorative pieces. Each dot is carefully placed by hand, making every piece unique. Capulineado is a proud symbol of Mexican folk art and cultural heritage.
